ARE YOU GETTING MEAN YET?
When is it best to ignore those “friends” who have no patients for truth?
Many of our neighbors, coworkers, and friends look upon us as trouble makers if we act on our belief that there really is objective truth. They call us mean, intolerant, and worse.
Are we really in doubt as to how to handle this situation? Are we really confused? Are we really able to find the right answer if we submit our opinion to the results of opinion polls? Is our opinion of no importance? Do the masses have a better grasp on reality than we do?
If so, is the consensus of these opinion polls accurately reported to us through our media, and academia, or is it tainted by bias?
These are questions that I believe everyone should ask themself. The answers should reveal whether we are grounded in unchanging principals, or fables. If truth is not firm, if it is acceptable for those in charge of enforcing laws, are free to withhold enforcement for some, while for others, they demand enforcement to the fullest extent, there is no justice.
Laws either apply to everyone, or they are unlawful. Laws should either be enforced equally upon everyone, or they are unjust.
Some of our fellow citizens believe that certain laws, and/or standards are to be enforced on certain people, yet they believe that certain other people should be exempt from the consequences of violating these same standards, or they simply ignore these offenses.
If these people are unbelievers in the Bible, the Bible describes them as reprobates. We should not expect them to know better. For them, salvation is needed. If they have received salvation, their actions should exemplify that fact. They should ask the Lord for wisdom, and He is faithful and just to give it. They are then to act on it as He has answered their prayer.
Truth is wisdom, when it is acted upon. Knowing truth is of no benefit, if it is not acted on affirmatively. Acting upon truth is not popular in a perverted world, but the true blessings of God will not come to those that lack the courage to call truth, truth, to call evil evil, or to call good, good.
I challenge my friends to look around. See the injustice being called righteous all around us, and reject it. Pay attention to what is being done to the greatest nation ever created, by selfish reprobates, to the destruction of all that our forefathers fought to create.
If you are ok with what the Biden Administration is doing to America, you are a foolish person, and I am more afraid of the consequences of not saying so, than I am of the repercussions of saying it.
God bless you, Dave
