CONSTITUTIONAL RESTORATIVE?
What the heck is that?
For most of my life, I have considered myself a Constitutional Conservative. That’s because of my understanding of who founded our nation, why they founded it, and because the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution work together to establish a godly foundation and environment for Godly Governance and liberty.
What exactly does it mean to be a conservative?
The root of the word conservative is, “conserve.”
Merriam-Webster defines it as:
conserve
1: to keep in a safe or sound state
He conserved his inheritance.
especially: to avoid wasteful or destructive use of
It has been my understanding that a free society should struggle to preserve the tenants, and features that support liberty, but more and more often I hear people that I agree with on so many points suggesting, or flatly stating, that the constitutional republic as formed by our founders is over.
Mark Levin says repeatedly that we are living in a post-constitutional America.
Well, if our nation is no longer a constitutional republic, (as is guaranteed by by Article 4, Section 4.) how is it logical to seek to conserve it?
I have struggled to accept this reality. I have repeatedly resisted the concept that our constitutional republic is over, but the evidence is overwhelming.
It is not that the citizens have actively chosen to move away from our Constitution’s provisions, but atheists and communists have arrested control of our education, entertainment, media, and governing systems throughout our great nation with little to no resistance from the descendants of our forefathers, and legal immigrants that should have conserved its governing foundation.
As a result, we find ourselves, not in a situation where conservation is needed, but restoration. Our Constitution has not failed America, its citizens have failed the Constitution.
Ignorance of these truths will serve to further destroy the integrity of this Constitutional Republic, (I have italicized these words for impact.)
From now on, I will no longer refer to myself as a constitutional conservative. I am a constitutional restorative.
I seek to restore the greater nation to ever exist to the source of its greatness.
I invite my friends, family, and every enemy who believes that their God-given rights should be respected to join me.
There are loads of God-fearing Americans throughout the land whom God has inspired to stand against the Marxist forces aligned against liberty for all.
All who treasure freedom should find a way to take part as a citizen in a contact sport, that requires their participation.
“Any power that government takes from the people, it will never return voluntarily.
Every power that government takes will ultimately be abused to the maximum extent possible.
Nobody ever complied their way out of totalitarianism, the only thing we can do is resist.”__Robert Kennedy jr.
The Serenity Prayer
“God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.” (by Reinhold Neibuhr in the 1930s)
God bless you, Dave
