To all Senators, and Congressional representatives,
especially Louisiana's two Senators, John Kennedy, and Bill Cassidy, and my representative, Steve Scalise.
I wonder if you are outraged at the treatment of those that went to the capital on January 6th?
Even those that committed felonies on that day are entitled to be released on bail, legal representation, and a timely trial. And until found guilty of at least one felony, or commit violent felonies in jail, they should not be put into solitary confinement. AT ALL!
Julie Kelly has been reporting on this miscarriage of justice for many months, and has even published a book on the mistreatment of our fellow citizens, many of which have been imprisoned, simply for believing that the presidency was stolen from President Trump. A belief that I share.
As a member of the US Congress, you have a constitutional duty to make our laws, but I believe that, though it is not your personal duty to monitor how the Executive, and judicial branches behave concerning those laws, ignoring this very public misuse, and abuse of law is a dereliction of your duty.
At this point, I believe that hundreds of honest, innocent Americans have been unjustly imprisoned, and their lives and families crushed. I implore you to do something.
I beg you to lead, or join a group of legislators in shutting down all business until this situation is addressed?
I am waiting to see if you choose to become a leader, and force the rectification of this abominable situation, and I will encourage as many as I can to join me in efforts to defend these Americans in need.
