Isaiah 5: 20 is a warning to God’s people, yet many modern Americans don’t believe it.
Our Constitution was created to protect our citizens from tyranny, but many of the very people committed to its protection and implementation directly violate our Constitution as well as this verse. Woe unto them.
Evidently, They do not fear the mighty hand of God. Perhaps they believe their authority is greater than that of our creator.

The modern American judicial system has been turned on its head. Our courts are intent on freeing the lawless and imprisoning the law-abiding, including the legal council that represents the law-abiding.
As Americans, we have a choice, we can continue to sit idle while “Rome burns,” or we can remember the words of our founders, “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

If Americans choose not to object to the tyrannical despotism inflicted on our society while they deem offenses to be sufferable, there will come a time when they no longer are.

Most of us have heard these quotes, but do we pay attention? Do we think it is someone else’s duty to resist on our behalf?
There is no authority higher than God. If He warns us to pay attention, we would be wise to heed.
