Every animal ever created was created with this instinct regarding danger. Certain species tend to lean one way or the other, while other species lean the opposite way.
Within each species, every animal, as an individual, may differ in their reaction from others in similar situations, and especially in different situations.
Keep in mind, that people are animals, created by God in varying and specific ways, with vastly unique traits and tendencies.
While each individual’s reaction to their fight-or-flight instincts is unique, there are certain ways these tendencies can be controlled.
I once bought tires from a tire store owned and operated by brothers. In the waiting room of this store where several hogs were mounted on the wall.
As a hunter and gun enthusiast, I asked what was used to take these animals.
I was informed that they didn’t use guns. They would send bay dogs into the woods to find and track the hogs.
When hogs found themselves in the sights of these dogs, realizing that they were outnumbered, their fight/flight instincts would cause them to run for their lives.
The dogs would continue after the hog relentlessly, (howling,) all the way.
This did two things. It caused the hog to realize that it was being overcome by the dogs while it informed the hunters where they were.
As the hog came to grips with the fact they couldn’t outrun the dogs their fight/flight instinct would adjust. The hog would dig in and face the dogs for a fight.
The “bay dogs” were not to engage with the hog. They would surround it and change its bark, alerting the hunters that the hog was “at bay.”
That’s when they would release the pit bulls. They would follow the sound of the bay dogs to the hog and capture it, holding it till the hunters arrived to take the hog from the dogs and put it in a cage.
It was then transported to be fattened before butchering.
In this example, we see the individual fight/flight instincts in action, and we see that by knowing the instincts, they can be exploited to create a particular outcome.
Marxists are hateful people. They are atheists, meaning they hate God as the devil does. They are of their father, the devil, who is also the father of lies.
These are all things said about the devil and his followers in the Bible.
Satan is not concerned about how much time processes take, the end result is of utmost importance to him.
Likewise, Marxists devise elaborate schemes that often long outlive their designers. They instinctively expect that they may not live to see the completion of their scheme. They proselytize others into their scheme, lying and promising utopia.
Because Christians often seek compromise, they are likely to overlook the dastardly devices of Marxists, and the carnage is thought to be accidental, or unintended consequences.
Nothing is further from the truth. While the human actors who execute these diabolic schemes may be ignorant, the planners are not. They are following the schematic designed by the enemy of justice and the chief hater of mankind.
As long as we underestimate these facts, we will continue to be like the hog in my previous illustration.
We may put up a fight while the deck is stacked against us, but we will not be counted as the “good and faithful servant” of parables. We will not have resisted the devil that he might flee. We will be found as the watchman on the wall who did not raise the blast to warn society of the attack.
The people will die, and their blood will be upon us.
It is not time for a civil war. Our founders did not pick up arms against their oppressors at the first sign of tyranny.
As King George “…obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers….abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us….In every stage of these Oppressions [they] have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. As with the hog, after a long process of avoiding battle, it became clear that it was time to fight.
Less than 50% of adult Americans vote in Presidential elections. Less than that show up to vote in primary elections, when and where candidates are selected, and far less than that vote in local elections.
If we have such a low sense of our duty to hold our politicians accountable, where would we find the stamina and determination to endure the hardships of war?
It is time for our politicians to fear the voters. They should be afraid for their position to tell us one thing during the election’s campaign, and do something else once elected.
How would they find the motivation to fear this? It will happen when Americans quit complaining about what elected politicians do to them, and begin managing them like the employees they are.
When will Americans begin to take these duties seriously? When our Pastors stop preaching that we should turn the other cheek, and submit to tyrants who submit themselves to the prince of darkness.
