Some are perplexed, unable to understand why the Biden Administration keeps doing what it’s doing. They wonder about logic, and their reasoning.
The Biden Administration claims that they have no control over inflation, or oil and gas prices. They blame, “Big Oil,” while choking the life out of the industry. They halted construction of the Keystone oil pipeline immediately after assuming office. They have curtailed oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico, and Alaska. All of this reduces American petroleum supply, insuring rising prices, but they deny any responsibility for the results, increasing oil prices.
Last week the Biden Administration began publicly calling on “Big Oil” to increase our domestic oil supply, while maintaining every bit of these crippling restrictions.
This reminds me of Pharaoh when Moses told him that the Lord wanted him to take Israel to the desert to worship Him. Pharaoh was convinced that Israel must have too much free time, since they wanted to “irresponsibly” spend that time worshipping their Lord.
What was his answer, he issued a decree that they could use this “extra time” to gather their own straw for brick making. He stipulated that their production was not to suffer, they must use their “spare time” to find straw, and their production was to remain constant.
Biden repeatedly told us during his presidential campaign that there would be no expansion of oil exploration, drilling, fracking, or refining. He said that we must break from our addiction on fossil fuels. On his first day as President he halted what was to be the most effective, inexpensive, profitable means of oil distribution, the Keystone Pipeline.
Now, as the price of everything we need for our daily living relies on ingredients, and transportation, and increases due to the rising cost of petroleum, President Biden, and his spokespersons deny any responsibility. They blame Putin’s war, Covid 19, and even, “his predecessor,” Donald Trump, (who enacted policies that made America a net exporter of petroleum products for the first time in many decades.)
The one dependable thing that we have come to expect from this current administration, is that the failures of each, and every policy foisted upon American society, are not their fault, they are the fault of others. They demand compliance with their insane policies, and take no responsibility for their predictable outcomes.
As with Pharaoh’s commands, our present “leadership” arrogantly claims superiority, and demands complete compliance, convinced that they can choke the life out of the golden goose, while increasing the harvest of golden eggs.
It must be nice to live in that alternative reality, but we must live in the real world. There will be no profit in extending grace to this tyrannical regime. We must confront every denial of reality.
Our constitution is the establishing document of the rules of American governing policies. It begins with the address of the sovereign, “We the people.” There is no politician, regardless of their elected status, their position within the three branches, or their position within the hierarchy of administration who is above the people.
The United States of American is a democratic republic, and at the top of that republic is the will of the people. The USA is a, “government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” That requires the people execute the leadership of those in political positions, and to say no when those that are given power, abuse it, assuming power not granted to them by the people, or the Constitution in their attempt to reign tyranny over the masses.

It has been many years since our government has operated as it was intended. The Congress has written unconstitutional laws, authorizing executive branch entities to make regulations, (laws,) with penalties, and punishments attached. They have allowed these bureaucracies to become judge, jury, and executioner in many cases.
Our Presidents have more, and more relied on executive orders to initiate policies that not only have not been passed constitutionally, (both houses agreeing to the letter of the law, then having the President actually sign it into law,) but have often not even been created through the bureaucratic process. They are just decreed.
Then when constitutional disputes are debated in the Federal Court System, the personal opinions of the judges are often elevated above the law, as created via that constitutional process.
Mark Levin often refers to this as a post-constitutional era. If you are acquainted with our Constitution, you can easily understand this concept. Our elected officials have piece, by piece, dismantled many of the provisions designed to protect our citizens from tyranny, to guaranty equal justice, and liberty for all.
The question here is how do we return to constitutional governance? What mechanisms are there that can overcome this assault on our liberties? Some believe that it is only by overtaking the instrumentalities of this post-constitutional bureaucratic leviathan, and using it to reform the Federal Government.
The problem is that the system often devourers those that make this attempt. It lures them according to their desire to reform, then it appeals to their human nature, and perverts them to become a cog in the wheel of the leviathan.
An Article V, Convention of States gives us the best chance to reign in the will of the tyrant. It requires patience, respect for the Constitution, and compassion for our progeny. There is no quick fix. There will be no Superman capable of purifying the heart of the American citizens. It will require faithfulness to the, “written word,” of scripture, and the, “written word,” of the US Constitution, to return effective, principled governance to this great nation.
