GENOCIDE & OCCUPATION
When are they false accusations?
Who knows whether the Israel of today is the Israel of the Bible. Many Christians believe it is, and some don’t recognize evidence that it is.
What is clear is that many of its neighbors HATE this small nation.
It has become accepted by many Americans that Israel is committing genocide on “Palestinians” in Gaza.
Having no dog in this fight, I simply examine the evidence available.
While Jews are called in the Bible the “chosen of God,” it was they who were first given salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Those who accepted this salvation were later dubbed Christians, and entry was extended to the Gentiles, or the nations.
Romans, chapter eleven tells us that salvation was given to those of Israel and that believing Gentiles were “grafted in.”
Romans 11:26 reveals that “all Israel shall be saved,” including the Gentiles who were grafted in. The Bible does not say that Christians were grafted into Judaism, rather it says that Gentiles were grafted into the “chosen.”
This does not include Jews who reject salvation through the Christ.
However, whether or not the Israel of today IS the “CHOSEN “ of the Lord, where is the evidence that they are committing genocide on Palestinians?
While Palestinians daily demand the end of Israel, “from the river to the sea,” no such proclamations are known to exist by Israelis.
What is genocide but the elimination of a tribe or nation. It is Palestinians who seek to eliminate those in Israel, not the other way around.
Israel is also accused as a hostile “occupation.”
It is my understanding that Israel surrendered Gaza to the Palestinians decades ago. Do any Jews exist in Gaza? So where is this hostile occupation by the Jews?
My question is, why are so many Americans willing to accept any claims by people who assert absurdities that Israel is the ones who are committing, or attempting to commit genocide or hostile occupation?
God bless you, Dave
