With prayer and supplication we celebrate America
As we take this day to fellowship with our families and friends, let us remember the godly origins of our nation.
May we remember that it was in celebration of God’s provisions and the rejection of the selfish tyranny of kings that our nation was created, and that it is this very “Declaration of Independence” that we celebrate on July 4th every year.
The enemies of liberty love the fact that many Americans fail to call this holiday by its rightful name, “Independence Day,” in favor of “the 4th of July.”
On this day, I will celebrate the humility and determination of those who pledged their lives, their fortunes, and sacred honor that we may enjoy the fruits of our own labor as free Americans.
