In response to my recent article, “VOTED FOR BIDEN?” A friend told me,
“I sent your article to a couple in our church who are liberals to the max and the husband wrote back that he had no choice but to vote for Biden since Trump was one of the worst presidents in our history. It is amazing how blind some Christians are regarding reality. He does not think he needs to repent.”
This statement does not only represent “blindness,” it represents arrogance. There is no humility in this, “opinion.” Refusal to admit facts is a character issue, and the Bible clearly states, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20.
I repeat this verse often because it directly addresses blatant factors that we face daily. If you, or your neighbor affirms the incarceration, and punishment of people that have no actual evidence of wrong-doing, (other than slander by those with an agenda,) are calling “good evil.” Those that ignore and support the felonies committed by departments of justice, and law enforcement, against innocent Americans, are calling, “evil good.”
This verse says, “woe,” to these people. This is not my judgement, it is GOD’s! If they stubbornly insist, they are party to these crimes. They arrogantly choose to remain ignorant, at the cost of innocent people, and to the benefit of criminals. God has revealed His judgement, if we oppose His judgement, we commit yet another SIN.
I submit ALL JUDGEMENT to the Lord. I choose to align my judgements with His, and I implore others to do the same. Where I fall short of this goal, I too sin.
Those who choose to allow the innocent to suffer are LESS THAN COMPASSIONATE.
Those who assist criminals in the persecution of the innocent are LESS THAN COMPASSIONATE.
“These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD . “ Zechariah 8:16-17
I believe that those, who through arrogant ignorance of the facts, (the result of which leads to the incarceration, interrogation, torture, or death of the innocent,) are less than Christian, less than compassionate, and deeply hurtful, but it is not my opinion that matters. God is the judge of this, and God is the ultimate judge of our heart. God has revealed His judgements on many matters, throughout His Word, that we might use them as guide posts to measure our own thoughts and intents. They are the true standards, making an accurate measurement of our own righteousness, (or lack thereof,) accessible to us. God’s stated intention is that we should govern our own behavior, leaning on His biblical revelations to help us attain a more compassionate existence.
WE WILL SUBMIT! Every knee WILL bow to His judgement. Will it be by our own choice, and a blessing to stand before His judgement, or will it be a curse?
That choice is ours alone.
God bless you, Dave
Well put!!
