After the 2022 Midterm election, the Republican Party ended up losing the majority in the Senate to the Democrat Party and gaining a slim majority in the House of Representatives.
Most of us are aware of the House Speaker antics which began the 2023 session and that Kevin McCarthy ended up as the speaker temporarily.
Some voices in the Republican Party had praised McCarthy’s performance early on and have had much criticism for his ouster, like Mark Levin.
While I agree with Levin nearly 100% of the time and value his knowledge of the US Constitution, I believe his judgment on this issue is tainted. I will not venture to guess the source of the tainting.
In my estimation, the best evidence that McCarthy was a poor choice for speaker is that when he lost his speakership, he picked up his toys and went home, leaving the already slim Republican leadership even slimmer. The special election to replace him left the Democrat Party one person closer to the gavel.
He has been joined in his rebellion by others, and now Ken Buck has added his name to the list of ship-jumpers.
We must ask ourselves, is there any benign, innocent excuse for whittling down the already fragile Republican majority in the single entity of our federal government?

I don’t pretend to know the reasons for each of these Republican imposters’ defection, but I assure you it is not innocent, patriotic, reasoned, or ethical.
They have each chosen to behave in a way that rejects the will of their voters and will likely result in handing over the last thread of power that opposes the Marxist tyranny of the modern Democrat Party.
Buck said, “We have to have better candidates up and down the ballot, not just President, but Senate, House, local offices. We’ve got to find better ways to elect candidates and bring America together.” What evidence that Mr. Buck would do anything to recruit and elect constitutional conservatives to elected office?
Let me be clear, any movement, or candidate he might become involved in supporting would likely be a disaster for constitutional governance, and a desertion of the principles of patriots.
As one who loves the Lord and our nation’s Constitution, I implore my fellow patriots to shun any political ventures or advice of any of these turncoats.

That might be part of it but I believe it goes deeper. He and others, (like McConnell,) are anti-patriots actively undermining efforts to effectively oppose the Marxists who have taken control of the Democrat Party.
