We are all busy with the common demands on our lives. We have many personal needs, desires, and commitments. If we have children, that comes with a long list of other demands on our time, and resources.
Among our hopes for our children is to fully prepare them for adulthood, and its requirements.
American society, and the free market have centered on enabling us to fulfill the necessities of life with more comfortable alternatives. These options often open up free time for us to enjoy entertainment, and other benefits.
One of those things that western society, and the free market has made available to us is to have the educational training of our children provided to us at a financial cost, either through private schools, or through the provisions of our local, state, and federal governments.
It has become second nature for most Americans to trust the system, and the professional educators trained to facilitate the education of our children.
Until very recently, most Americans have been satisfied that, despite the limitations that come with being humans, our schools systems, and the professionals that make them up, are as committed to our children’s betterment as we are.
The Covid lockdowns, which forced education onto the internet, and into our homes, have given caring parents a window into the heart, and soul of our public school “professionals,” and their goals for our children.
Outrage has been the prevailing reaction to what many have witnessed. This has prompted many to begin attending school board meetings in protest.
This reaction is important, but we must realize that the same destructive forces that have undermined our education industry have also camouflaged their tactics. Parents who are trying to research just what heir children are being exposed to are having the facts deliberately hidden from them, and the forces of law enforcement turned upon them.
During the 2021-22 school session, I asked a Tangipahoa Parish school administrator for a list of the books that students are being asked to read, and I did receive a list. That list appeared to be fully wholesome, but it did not include, “The Conscious Parent’s Guide To Gender Identity,” or “QUEER A Graphic History.”
Note the four + rating of these books on Amazon, and the flowery praise given to these perverted works.
Are these books that you believe your elementary school students should be exposed to? I have been told by Jennifer Carignan, of Save Our Schools, that these books are available in all Tangipahoa school libraries, and that NO parent, from outside of our public education system, can enter these libraries to investigate whether it is true.
Why do you suppose an industry, that is funded by the taxes of adults, and parents, for the education of their children, is not willing to allow parental scrutiny? I assure you that the answer is not confidence inspiring.
If we are to defend the United States of America from all of its enemies, foreign and domestic, we must begin with protecting our children from the perversion being foisted upon them.
COS Action is devoted to this, and other causes. Causes like these;
1) limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government
2) Imposing fiscal restraints
3) Placing term limits on federal officials.
