LEGISLATIVE ALERTS
My effort to help direct Louisiana’s legislation
There are several legislative watch groups devoted to protecting our citizens from unjust legislation.
I am aware of several and partner with them in their goals. I will try to lend assistance to multiply their reach, and thereby effectiveness in civic engagement.
The groups I seek to help are:
LACAG (Louisiana Citizen Action Group)
CIOS Action (Convention of States Action)
Louisiana Forum
Louisiana Sunshine
Christopher Alexander, of LACAG, has assured me that he includes Louisiana Sunshine’s calls to action in this that he sends out.
LACAG and Louisiana Forum send out calls to action to help the average citizen direct the votes of their representatives.
COS Action is training their attention on certain specific bills and might call for action on certain bills.
From now on, whenever you see a post in this SubStack titled, “CALL TO ACTION,” it will be intended to help one of these groups to alert us to the need for contacting legislators.
Often these actions may be urgent, needing action immediately.
I will do my best to give these alerts as early as possible and provide simple and concise instructions and contact info needed to complete the needed action.
(Note,) if I am not sure that I agree with the wisdom of the actions called for, I may not pass on the “call for action.” I intend to help when, and where I believe that the urgings are ethical, honest, well thought out, and wise. If I don’t agree that the opinions of these groups on particular items fit these criteria, I may not expend the time and effort to pass them on to you.
My goal is to reach those within my reach, who have limited time to study the many issues that may need attention but wish to do their duty in holding our government to account.
Watch for “CALLS TO ACTION,” and help me help you to guide our legislatures in Godly Governance.
God bless you, Dave

You're welcome.
Thanks, Dave. I can use this. Keep up the mission
