I wrote Representative Massie a letter in answer to this appearance, and I’m sharing it with anyone who will listen.
Dear Representative Massie,
Thank you for your storied service in the US House of Representatives.
I have listened to your appearance on the Jenna Ellis in the Morning podcast.
I do not live in your district, so you do not answer to me as a constituent, but in light of some of your comments to Jenna, I hope you will take a moment to read what I have to say.
I agree with the gist of our need to “support” and “defend” the Constitution. I do not agree with your assertion that supporting and defending the Constitution is at odds with the need, and constitutionality of impeaching Biden, Mayorkas, or Garland.
You implied that when Majorie Taylor Green proposed an article of Impeachment of Biden on the second day of the Biden Administration, he had not yet committed impeachable offenses. I beg to differ.
I am not one of those who suggests that Biden should be impeached in retaliation for the unjust prosecutions, and impeachments of President Trump.
My stance is that he should be impeached for his myriad impeachable offenses, beginning with, (as I remember I had counted about five on January 21, 2021.)

Your denial of his having committed impeachable offenses shows a stunning lapse in constitutional judgment.
I am not a lawyer, or a politician, but I can, and do read the US Constitution.
You said that impeachment is reserved for “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,” suggesting that Biden has not committed such offenses. I beg to differ.
Here is where we disagree, and I wish you would discuss it with Mark Levin, who is a certified constitutional attorney. He too disagrees with your assessments.
Liberty, and the US Constitution are not self-actuating. We can neither support or defend liberty by simply “being free,” or simply by personally obeying it. It takes action, courage, wisdom, and sacrifice to defend the Constitution, and the liberty that it secures.
Trying to defend the Constitution by the letter of constitutional law while Marxists trample each of its principles, is like trying to defeat Genghis Khan using Marquis of Queensbury rules.
Americans have elected members of Congress to represent our needs, interests, and concerns in Washington. We rely on your character to faithfully represent us, as well as the spirit of the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution, not to extend the benefit of the doubt to American Marxists.
The American people need congressmen of wisdom and stature, equipped, willing, and ready to support the Constitution by its faithful defense.
In 1776, our forefathers who had descended from those who had sought to escape the tyranny of Europe in the New World, having debated liberty for years, conspired to put an end to it as they drafted a “sternly worded letter” to King George, ( the Declaration of Independence.)
As it is easy to recognize by the wording of the Declaration, they did not expect the king to give in to their demands, they expected resistance.
They did not succumb to the king’s refusal, they went to blows. They realized that if they, or their progeny were ever to experience the liberty that they craved, it would require the risk of their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.” They committed to war on their oppressors, and it is known today as “The Revolutionary War.”
Once the war was won, and liberty was constructed in the United States of America, they began the pursuit of righteous governance, eventually establishing the US Constitution in September of 1787.
As John Adams is known to have declared, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Later, his son, John Quincy Adams, said “Duty is ours, results are God’s.”
It is high time that America’s “leaders” begin acting in the defense of our Constitution, not just debating it.
Mark Levin often says that we are living in a post-constitutional era. What does this mean?
Does he mean that the Constitution is no longer pertinent? NO! This means that our “leaders” in Congress, the executive bureaucracy, and even our federal court system, rarely uphold the spirit, or even the letter of the US Constitution. I believe that your assessments concerning the impeachment process and its proper application are prime examples of this reality.
The "American Marxists” that make up the “Democrat Party (who) Hates America” exhibit no fidelity to our Constitution. They blatantly violate it constantly while claiming the mantle of its protection, and attempting to use the letter of constitutional law as a weapon against their opponents.
Their opponents, (people like you, Republicans in office,) hope to convince these vicious political tyrants to play nice, while they are repeatedly conquered and punished due to their inaction.
You have suggested that Biden has not committed Treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
I believe that you are sadly mistaken. Public evidence is abundant that Joe Biden and his family have been selling out our nation, for tens of millions of dollars, for many decades. This is treason, by way of bribery.
Abundant evidence has emerged through bank records and federal whistle-blowers, that underscores the bribery that has been executed by Joe Biden and his family.
I have now established that Joe Biden has indeed committed treason and bribery. What about high crimes and misdemeanors?
What is a “high crime?
In your discussion with Jenna Ellis, you glossed over these offenses as though they had no meaning, or were not applicable.
I believe that the context of its placement in the Constitution suggests that high crimes are crimes against the Constitution, and thereby the American people.
Could it be that the forfeit of Bagram Air Force Base to the Taliban is a crime against America?
Could The cancelation of the “remain in Mexico policy,” and the advertisement that illegal aliens were welcome in foreign nations equate to willful violations of existing federal immigration laws?
Both of these offenses against our nation have resulted in the loss of life of scores of Americans, America’s allies, and other innocents.
These were premeditated violations of the Constitution’s requirement for the President to, “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,” Article II, Section 3, a crime against the Constitution. Could there be a more obvious “high crime?”
As to misdemeanors, I don’t know what this means, or how it should be applied, but, likely, Biden has also violated this constitutional standard.
It is time that our legislators begin to take their constitutional responsibilities to DEFEND the Constitution seriously.
I am not suggesting that our Constitution should be violated in order to restore it, but rather that strict adherence be employed. The support and defense of that Constitution should be engaged, inflicting damages upon those who violate it for political purposes.
For instance, since the FBI, and DOJ refuse to execute federal laws passed by Congress and ratified by Presidents, they should suffer fiscal retaliation. No ifs, ands, or buts.
The funds used by these agencies to prosecute law-abiding citizens, and subvert the rule of law need to be withheld from them.
Congress was given by the Constitution, oversight responsibility over all three branches of the federal government. Ignoring that responsibility is largely what has brought us to this perilous point in American history.
It will require testicular fortitude to reverse this trend.
Chuck Schumer went directly to a microphone to brag about getting Republicans in Congress to sign off on the latest budget proposal “without cutting one solitary nickel.” How does this represent fidelity to the US Constitution? It is a violation of congressional responsibility by Democrats, and a dereliction of duty by Republicans.
Until the American Marxists in Congress begin to experience push-back from their opposition, our liberties will continue to erode, and tyrants will tighten their grasp around the neck of our republic.
The threat of violence heightens as the law is allowed to be used by Democrats, as a weapon against Republicans, without effective resistance.
It will likely not be constitutional conservatives that will resort to physical violence against Marxists in retaliation for their abuse, it will be the Marxist Democrats that will use physical violence against their opposition, as they did after the 2016 victory of Donald Trump, and had threatened in 2020 should Trump be reelected.
Constitutionalists will likely fight fire with fire in opposition to this lawless violence, as a defense, should our Republican representatives continue failing in their constitutional responsibilities.
God bless you, Dave
