Last Sunday, at our church, we experienced what I believe is an indicator of what is to come. If we want a move of God we must be ready to face down the arrogant sons of Satan. James 4:7 “…Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
I am including a link to a speech made by a Catholic Priest from California. The speech was held in the country of Georgia and addressed the godless LGBT… assault on faith.
He speaks of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam. Whether we believe these are all legitimate religions, the points he makes are valid on a societal level.
If we intend to stand for God, we will need to engage in spiritual warfare.
By the time this idol worshipper came into my view on Sunday, he was dancing right in front of our Pastor, dressed like a woman. It was a blatant confrontation, similar to what Father Josiah Trenham describes in the video, “Gay Iconoclasm.”

After witnessing the event of last Sunday, and as I began reading my Bible the following morning, beginning with the section where Joshua sent spies into Ai, I noticed things.
The spies returned to tell Joshua not to let all the Israelites go into battle because the enemy forces were minimal.
Joshua followed their advice and sent only about three thousand warriors.
The men of Ai routed the Israelite forces and 36 men were killed.
We know from the context, that the reason Ai was able to conquer Israel was because Achan had taken the "accursed thing", ( Joshua 7:1.)
We know from the end of Deuteronomy, and from early in Joshua, that Joshua was God's pick to lead Israel. He was the most spiritually in-tuned leader in the nation, yet he appears not to have sought the council of the Lord before following the advice of his spies, and God did not make him aware of the problem beforehand.
Why might he have failed to ask for god's direction before engaging in battle? Why did those thirty-six soldiers perish in the battle? Was it because of their sin? Was it that they were to be an example to the nation, or to Joshua? We can’t know because Scripture does not tell us.
It does tell us that this loss compelled Joshua to seek the Lord, and God showed him what to do about it.
In Joshua 7:10-15 scripture tells us what the council of the Lord was to him.
In Joshua 7:19-21 we read about the confession of Achan.
Following, we read that it didn't go well for Achan, and the righteous footing of the nation of Israel was restored. Then the Lord instructed Joshua to gather the whole fighting force of Israel, and how to attack Ai.
I realize that this is not necessarily a prescription for our reaction to events like Sunday's. It is merely one example. I know that we must humble ourselves, and be willing to do what is right in response to our environment.
I believe that the lesson is for us to fight this battle in prayer.
I don't know, there may be specific sins that need to be addressed in our body before moving on. I pray that believers will go to the Father with these questions, and act according to His direction.
I think the greatest lesson we can take from this is to know that there will be more attacks on the church if it is committed to following God. This is the age of extreme arrogance from the world of evil. Evil,
Marxist forces from within every institution. The Church and our nation, have been infiltrated, and in many ways perverted against us, and our Lord.
Could it be that we have come to this season, “for such a time as this?”
God bless you, Dave
