While the Federal Reserve is already creating fiat money at a current rate of $8,300 per minute, or $11,952,000 per day, our Congress has already been spending it faster than it can be created for decades.
That’s 11 million, nine hundred and fifty-two thousand dollars per day.
Let that sink in.
Our Senate has just voted to appropriate an additional $95 billion in foreign aid, and both of Louisiana’s Senators enthusiastically voted in support of this proposal advanced by Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and every anti-constitutional reprobate in the US Senate.
We should consider where this money will come from. Let’s remember that the United States of America does not have this money, we are currently $34 trillion, and over $276 billion in debt already.
To be clear, debt is defined as money that is spent, over and above that which the spenders possess. Our Senate has agreed with President Biden to give away another $95 billion that they also do not possess.
Once again, let us consider where this money is to come from. If our government doesn’t possess it, then who does? Will they borrow it from someone else? If so, who might that be?
Much of our existing national debt is to China, Japan, and other nations, but these nations are all in a similar position. They have already overspent their resources, and like the US, they rely on fiat money creation.
What exactly is “fiat money?”
Our Congress does not want us to think about these questions. They don’t want us to consider the fact that money is not wealth. They want us to ignore that the currency created by our Federal Reserve is “legally created” counterfeit money. It holds no more value than currency created by criminal counterfeiters, yet it is unconstitutionally sanctioned by our Congress.
As a Louisiana citizen, and one who once regarded our two US Senators as patriots, I am stunned to report that these men both voted with the traitorous Mitch McConnell, and reprobate Chuck Schumer to further destroy the value of every dollar you’ve earned up till today with this corrupt legislation.
Let me be clear, The House of Representatives has not yet endorsed this traitorous action, but our House does not have a strong history of resisting the will of Democrats and Republican Senate leadership. Neither has the new Speaker of the House shown the resolve needed to stand up to Democrats. He has usually put up a good early fight but tends to fold under the constant, and relentless pressure of the “President,” Senate, and media.
I believe that constitutionalists in Louisiana must resist the urge to give the benefit of the doubt to these men. They have repeatedly squandered our trust. They have continued to disappoint their constituents and undermine constitutional governance with increasing regularity.
I am in favor of replacing both of Louisiana’s Senators. They should be challenged by competent, constitution-loving patriots in an upcoming primary.
While I can appreciate Senator Kennedy’s questioning during hearings, and testimonies at committees, his recent voting record is atrocious. He votes in alignment with Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer far too often. He appears to have little to no backbone for the fight to protect our nation from the Marxist forces aligned against it. He is great at pointing out hypocrisies but has little will to fight the necessary battles over legislation.
Why do you think I bring this up now? Senator Kennedy was just reelected to a new six-year term in 2022, and Senator Cassidy had already been reelected to his current six-year term in 2020. We are committed to their “service” until 2026 and 2028.
My answer is that political incumbents are extremely difficult to replace. Incumbents of both major political parties win more than 90% of races. To successfully challenge them, the time is now for qualified opposition to begin making their intentions known to the voters of Louisiana.
Another important point is that too few citizens of our state participate in the primary process. This is the process that determines who will be on the ballot in the general election. If we allow others to decide who is on that ballot, we surrender our ability to have worthy candidates to choose from in the general election.
For comparison of our Senator’s voting records, Conservative Review has a grading system for assessing the constitutional fidelity of every member of Congress. It is called the “Liberty Score.”
Senator Cassidy’s Liberty Score is an F. He votes in alignment with the US Constitution 55% of the time and with Chuck Schumer 45%.
Senator Kennedy’s Liberty Score is better, but it is also an F. He votes in alignment with the US Constitution 77% of the time and with Chuck Schumer 23%.
Senator McConnell, the current Republican leader of the Senate’s Liberty Score is an F. He votes in alignment with the US Constitution 44% of the time and with Chuck Schumer 56%.
Senator Schumer, the current “Majority Leader” of the Senate’s Liberty Score is an F, and according to Conservative Review, he votes in alignment with the US Constitution 0% of the time.
While 55%, 77%, and even 44% are all much better than 0%, an F is still a failing grade, and Republican Congressmen tend to agree with Democrats more often when it involves spending money that does not exist.
Our Senators have repeatedly failed to faithfully represent the citizens of Louisiana in Congress yet we seem unwilling to challenge them. I have written both of my Senators letters encouraging them to adhere to their constitutional duty to the citizens of America, and more directly, Louisiana.
I remember when, not too long ago, Mitch McConnell was the lame-duck Majority Leader of the Senate, and voters had just taken the Speaker’s gavel from Nancy Pelosi in favor of a Republican majority. McConnell and Schumer conspired to pass Pelosi’s atrocious spending bill during the lame-duck period, blocking the new Republican majority’s ability to have any input over spending matters for nearly a year. Might I remind you that our Constitution requires all spending bills to originate in the House, the body closest to the people, yet our temporary majority in the Senate helped the incoming Senate majority to take that right away from the incoming Republican majority in the House?
Almost immediately, both of Louisiana’s dear Senators voted to retain the “leadership” of McConnell over the Republican caucus in the Senate.
That’s right, Louisiana’s Senators helped to overwhelmingly reappoint Mitch McConnell to lead the Republican opposition to Democrat leadership in the Senate. At the same time, McConnell sides with the Democrats more often than he sides with Republican voters.
I was, and still am appalled at these votes, having just cast my vote for Kennedy in his reelection bid, he voted to block the authority of our new Republican leadership in the House of Representatives from having any effect on federal spending by extending the “leadership” of Mitch McConnell.
Mitch McConnell in turn immediately helped the Senate to pass Nancy Pelosi’s spending bill before the new Speaker of the House could have the opportunity to block it.
Where is the outrage? Where is the Tea Party? Where are Americans concerned about the future of America and the prosperity of their own children?
The unwillingness of our elected representation to stand in opposition to the Marxist efforts to destroy our nation and our currency is astounding.
Children don’t understand wealth. They believe that the possession of currency equates to the possession of wealth. They can’t understand that for currency to represent wealth, it must have value of its own and its very existence is not wealth.
Modern adults have been trained by nefarious forces within our government, media, and education systems, to be like children. American adults have been instructed in idiocy for over one hundred years, being established in the passage of the Federal Reserve Act.
I believe we need patriots to oppose these feckless Republican “warriors” in their next elections. We need qualified primary opponents to challenge Senators Cassidy and Kennedy. Louisianans must extend their successful efforts to reform our state’s government to the federal level. Our state’s congressional representation should reflect the same passion for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness nationally as at home in the bayou state.
Senator Kennedy makes a good speech, and a convincing argument on constitutional matters, but where the rubber meets the road, he is “tried, and found wanting.”
Senator Cassidy’s most passionate stand in this current term is to have voted with Democrats to impeach President Trump after he was no longer even in office.
After the successful theft of the 2020 presidential election by Democrats, Senator Cassidy voted with partisan Democrats to further the assault on our true President, the real winner of the 2020 election, President Trump.
Whether someone likes Donald Trump or not, the rules of government are dictated by our Constitution. There was nothing constitutional about the election procedures of many “swing states” in 2020, or the impeachment of President Trump.
If the majority of Americans did not appreciate the presidency of Donald Trump, they would have voted against him. Democrats would not have needed mailed ballots, election laws changed, or ballot harvesting to “defeat” him.
I believe that Senator Cassidy should be removed from office for his impeachment vote alone, if not for his dismal performance in defending the US Constitution and its standards.
God bless you, Dave
