After WW II, people around the world realized that if they were to forget the atrocities of Germany, and the war, it would likely happen again.
After the attack on the World Trade Center, in 2001, the general consensus was determined that it must not be forgotten.
Now, roughly 77 years after WW II, and. 21 years after 9/11/, members of one party continuously call members of the other party Nazis, and compare them to Hitler, while those of the other major party refrain from mentioning glaring similarities of their opposition party to Hitler, and the Nazi party.
I don’t think we are faithfully “not forgetting.”
When we go into the voting booth, we should think logically. Forget which party our parents voted for faithfully. Forget which party we are registered with. Forget which party we would like to be able to say we support. Remember that political parties are what political parties do.
Most Americans have suffered great damage from the party in power for the last 2 years. Vote, using the common sense that the good Lord gave you.
God bless you, Dave
