Any Pastor worth his salt, should believe the Bible is true…accurate, cover to cover. He should preach it, live it, study it, he should know with every ounce of his being that it is the inspired Word of God, and that he has been afforded the greatest honor:
to be able to carry that message to God’s people, to help them understand it.
If that Pastor believes otherwise, a different vocation should be considered. Time to help them out the door; and to find one that does. Sometimes a Pastor, or even the parent denomination dictates to the local church body that certain parts of Scripture are no longer relevant, that they no longer apply, no longer should be taught…because times have changed, and we need to change with the culture.
They go so far as to teach, and preach doctrine that is directly opposed to God’s Word.
Just look around: how can we not notice how morals have deteriorated? Look at the toll drug and alcohol addiction is taking on our country, honesty seems to have gone the way of cabooses on the railroad.
Our faith in the integrity and truthfulness of many of our politicians, and even the media has been brought to a new low point. Our young people… those who will soon become the America of tomorrow, are being taught a mandated curriculum that virtually guarantees a dire effect on our beloved America.
Who can correct our problems in America? Who can set the standards that we should aspire to? Who can define what is right, and what is wrong? Who can define honesty, and integrity?
The answer is simple! I like to call it God’s Absolutes. They are not new, they still fit the culture: they provide clear definition to what is right and wrong.
We are well on our way to rejecting God’s Absolutes: replacing His tried, and proven way with something that matches the new culture, or the changing doctrine of the Denomination.
The funny thing is this: these Absolutes, as I call them, were not given to us by God to hinder us, hold us down, or take away the good life, but were instead given us so that we could live a life of fulfillment, raise our families, live in safety, peace, and security. They were given to us for our benefit, not God’s.
Those Pastors and those Denominations which teach doctrine that is opposed to God’s directions will one day stand in judgement. The tragic part is this: those who continually sit under, and are swayed by that teaching are at risk of committing Spiritual suicide. A good verse is this, Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Only God’s ways should be preached.
He has no gender dysphoria, He honors marriage between one man and one woman, He still places value on honesty and integrity, and He loves us so much that He even gave us a wonderful guidebook to teach us the way.
He also gave us preachers to keep us on track. In the book of Romans, Chapter 10, verses 13-15, it says:
13) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. “
14) “How then shall they call on him in whom they they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
15) “And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace. And bring glad tidings of good things!”
In closing, the Apostle Paul, in the letter to the Church in Thessalonica states that although they may not always like what they were hearing, they as preachers were accountable to God to deliver it.
I Thessalonians 4:9 says: “But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so wee speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which tries our hearts.

This is a newspaper article written by the Pastor at a little church my Dad attends. I believe that this explains why people are leaving churches in more populated areas, and driving long distances to attend church in this tiny community, Rosebud MT.
They are hungry for the Word of God, unfiltered, and unmolested.
Rosebud is a city located in Rosebud County Montana. With a 2020 population of 59, it is the 339th largest city in Montana and the 27848th largest city in the United States.
God bless you, Dave
