George W Bush “enjoyed” a Republican majorities in Congress. They squandered it. They ballooned the Federal government, federal spending, and fiat currency to a greater degree than all of their predecessors combined.
They were grossly outdone by the Obama Administration, but that does not excuse the offenses of the Bush administration.
President Trump inherited a Republican majority in both houses of Congress, where the Republican majority in the House of Representatives had voted more than 70 times to eliminate Obamacare during the Obama Administration.
Once Trump was President, Republicans had the majority in the Senate, and Trump could have easily signed the bill into law, they forgot how important is was to eliminate Obamacare.
We are on the brink of an historic overthrow of the Democrats in Congress this November. Many of the winners of Republican primaries have no record of accomplishment. They have Donald Trump’s endorsement, and they’ve made promises. I think it is great to see that Trump’s endorsement means something to many Americans, but without a record of achievement, we are forced to “hope” that they will do what they have said, (like we did with the Republican majorities of the past.)
How might we inspire these Republicans, if elected, to do as they have promised?
I believe that we must give them a litmus test. I believe that we must set the expectations for their administrations. After all, We The People are their employers. They are subject to our demands. If we reward them for ineffectiveness, If we fail to reprove them for failure, (and worse, insubordination,) we will receive the government that we deserve, and it will not be pleasant.
Mark Meckler, of COS Action, is calling for the total breakup of the FBI, and I believe that this would be a great place to start, but it would only be a start. Republicans who insist on Ignoring facts, like Mike Pence, are playing into the hands of the marxist tyrants currently controlling the levers of power in our federal government.
If the rank and file FBI employees, members of the DOJ, and State Dept, truly are honorable, why are they not lining up to whistle blow on the tyrants at the top of these organizations? Either they are cowards, ignorant, or they are corrupt.
If they want to prove me wrong, I invite them to call James O’Keefe. I’m sure he would be delighted to help them inform the public on the corruption in their agencies.
Mike Pence said that calling for the breakup of these entities is no better than calling for the defunding of police. I can’t think of a more ignorant statement, and if this is really his opinion, I am ashamed that I ever thought that he might be suitable as president.
I submit these suggestions as items on a litmus test for Republicans.
Investigate every member involved in the impeachment of Donald Trump, either, or both times.
Investigate everyone associated with the “dossier.”
Investigate Hillary Clinton for her role in the “dossier.” and the Benghazi attack.
Investigate the Jan 6 incident, starting with Nancy Pelosi.
Stop all printing, and digitizing of US currency.
Finish President Trump’s wall on our southern border.
Question, under oath, officials about FBI involvement in Jan 6, with severe penalties for lies, or failure to answer.
Reform our legal immigration policies.
Recommit to the completion of the Keystone Pipeline.
10. Issue permits to drill for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, and Anwar.
11. Attorney General Herrick Garland must be impeached
12. Investigate the surrender of Bagram Air Base, and 1300 pieces of military weaponry.
13. Investigate Mitch McConnell’s ties to the Communist Chinese Party
14. Investigate Joe and Hunter Biden’s ties to the Communist Chinese Party, and Ukraine
Congress should get busy assigning independent investigators to investigate any, and all of these things that would fall under their jurisdiction.
I am not suggesting that Republicans should investigate, and prosecute Democrats as punishment for being Democrats, as the Democrats have done, rather legitimate predicates of felonies should be investigated to their end. If prosecution is found to be warranted, prosecutions should follow.
For instance, many of our elected politicians were wealthy when they were elected, like Mike Bloomfield, who’s marketable skills made him a multi millionaire. Or John Kerry, who married two consecutive multi millionaires, But people like Chuck Schumer, or Joe Biden, who’ve never had a marketable skill, or inherited great wealth, but were elected early in their lives to political positions, then ascended to higher, and higher positions. They now, after many decades of “public service,” have amassed fortunes on salaries of less than $500,000 per year.
I believe that likelihood of felonious behavior warrants investigation. If investigations prove that they truly have skills, through investments, to multiply their meager salaries to such an outstanding degree, they will have been exonerated, otherwise their criminal behavior will have been revealed, and they should be fitted for their orange jump-suits.
This list should do for starters, and it should keep them busy enough to leave honest, hard working, Bible believing, patriots alone, while they struggle to put food on their tables, and protect their children from racist perverts that seek to steal their innocence.
I’m ok if they leave others alone too.
If you agree, say AMEN!
God bless you, Dave
So many Republicans (Pence, Crenshaw, McConnell) are of the losing-politely-party, with not much vision, show their core allegiance to a leviathan state when something as small as reducing budgets is mentioned. Get the smelling salts ready whenever actual abolishment of an agency is proposed. If they see defunding police forces which protect citizens from robbery, rape, arson, and the rest of the felonies as equal to abolishing (defunding) a rogue agency which investigates religious conservatives, covid skeptics, opponents of the ruling class (see Angelo Codevilla's indispensable book), involved school parents, then there's the litmus test for you.
