When someone who claims to be your friend insults you, and your opinions, and empowers the most deceitful, dishonest, most intolerant political activists in America to infringe on the God given rights of those Americans that agree with the Bible, and/or the US Constitution, who is it that is intolerant?
Are we the bad guys, who believe that each of us is entitled to our own beliefs, and the right to state those beliefs publicly, or is it those that believe that they are righteous in their efforts to restrict the ability of Bible believers, and Constitutionalists, to proclaim, and act on their heart-felt beliefs?
What would you call it when someone insists on believing the most obvious lies, ignoring the most obvious facts, and acting offended when their intelligence, or integrity were called in question? Where do you believe these tactics originated?
Saul Alinsky wrote a book called, “Rules For Radicals.” The Jimmy Carter administration was involved in distribution of the books in the public education system when he was defeated by Ronald Reagan, and the American voter. Mark Levin was then assigned the task of dismantling this program.
What do you believe was Alinsky’s goal in publishing this book? I will list these, “rules for radicals,” as they are listed in his book.
1) Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
2) Never go outside the experience of your people.
3) Whenever possible go outside the experience of the enemy.
4) Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
5) Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
6) A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
7) A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8) Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.
9) The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10) The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure on the opposition.
11) If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principal that every positive has its negative.
12) The price of successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13) Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Are these the tactics of honest people? Have you noticed that anyone that opposes the efforts of the disciples of Alinsky are called, “enemies?” Why do you believe this is the case? Are Bible believers at physical war with their opponents? Is it Bible believers, and constitutionalists that reign violence on those that oppose them? Do Bible believers, and constitutionalists seek to deceive their political opponents by the use of these deceptive tactics? Do Bible believers, and constitutionalists refer to their opponents as, “enemies?” While I do believe that they are enemies of liberty, I don’t address them as I would a military foe, and I don’t believe that many Bible believers, and/or constitutionalist would either.
Do you recognize the use of any of these tactics against Bible believers, and constitutionalists in the 2016, 2020 election cycles, and ongoing?
Food for thought, (if we are indeed thinking people.)
God bless you, Dave
