I recently met a man who said his ancestors were from Plymouth Mass. What he told me about the original settlers confounded me.
He led me to believe that the pilgrims who settled there in 1620 discouraged Christians from living in the settlement.
This did not comport with what I had understood, so I looked at the Mayflower Compact.
Maybe I’m missing something. I am not concerned about what revisionist historians have to say about our history, I tend to rely on the actual documents produced at the time.
There is also a documentary by Kirk Cameron called “Monumental" dealing with American history from this region.
Anti-Christians and history revisionists hope to obscure the Christian heritage of this once great nation and retard efforts toward her restoration.
I prefer to let the facts speak for themselves. I prefer to honor God by protecting the true history of the Christians who sacrificed dearly to provide a home for their progeny where they were free to worship the God of the Bible
I believe secular freedom is not liberty, it is spiritual bondage. Our nation’s founders were willing to pledge their lives, their liberty, and their sacred honor to build a nation where their descendants could enjoy their lives, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I hope you will join me in securing these freedoms and passing them on to the next generation.
