THE STATE OF FREEDOM (again)
Louisiana Citizens Action Group
As a regular American, and a citizen of Louisiana, how do we exercise our political power?
The US Constitution begins with the words, “We the people.” What does that mean? Why are law-abiding citizens so committed to obeying the dictates of the tyrannical “servants” that rule over us?
For most of my life, I’ve been like so many other Americans, uninvolved with politics. When I turned 18 I didn’t even register to vote because I’d spent the better part of 18 years observing my dad’s frustration with corruption at every level of government.
I thought that it would be ridiculous to engage in such a farce as expecting my vote to count. It wasn’t until Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign that I heard someone that made me believe that there were actually politicians who respected our Constitution.
As a citizen of Louisiana, my respect for the electorate of my state was hampered by the realization that Governor Edwards held wizard-like powers over them.
In the last year, and through my association with Convention Of States Action, I’ve come to know a number of great citizen-patriot activists, including Christofer Alexander, of LACAG and the “State of Freedom” podcast.
On episode 50 Chris and Danielle discussed how they teamed up and the goals of their efforts.
On LACAG and the “State of Freedom” podcast, they seek to give voice to the concerned constitution-loving citizen of Louisiana. The 2023 legislative season was transformed by the influence of the voters on many of our legislators. True, there are some that ignored the magnifying glass application to their conduct, but massive battles were won on behalf of the voters.
LACAG and the “State of Freedom” podcast shone a consistent spotlight on our elected legislators, and have already begun efforts to inspire opponents for unopposed RINO’s in this coming election.
I recommend listening to episode 50 for all concerned Louisianans.
God bless you, Dave
