UNEVEN WEIGHTS
Tyranny is just a Federal Reserve dollar away
What is the first question children learn to ask on their own?
As I’ve noticed, it is usually one, single word, “why?”
That is a question that has been the basis for my understanding of almost everything I know today.
In a song by a 60’s-70’s pop band, “The Birds” (they sang, based on a passage out of Ecclesiastes, chapter three,) we learn that there is a reason for everything under heaven.
With this in mind, why do we believe that the framers, and authors of our Constitution established hard and fast rules for American money? Why do we believe that their reasons should be no longer applicable?
The standards and parameters for our money are clearly laid out in Article 1, Sections 8, and 10 in our Constitution.
“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;…. To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;” ( excerpts from Section 8)
“No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts…” (Excerpt from Section 10)
Ok, here we come to that age-old question, “Why?” There must be a reason. Surely we don’t believe that they considered this subject lightly, do we?
These men were men of conviction. They were intent on providing a society for their families that honored God and His will. Why might they have considered it crucial that only gold and silver could faithfully serve as our money, and that it must be Congress that was responsible for the parameters of its weights & measures?
Congress consists of the House of Representatives, (which is designed to allow for the representation of individuals,) and the Senate, (which was originally designed to represent the individual states of which the individual Americans were citizens.
In this institution, the personal interests, of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were represented. One of those interests was the ability to engage in commerce, the trading of value, both goods and services.
It is on this basis that every American should be alarmed that we now trade with unconstitutional money, and the value of our wealth is being diminished daily, and often hourly.
Many Americans’ understanding of our Constitution is heresy. It has been taught to us by less than honest people, or anti-constitutionalists and Marxists. We have not endeavored to read it for ourselves, allowing it to set the standards for our political and governmental understanding, therefore we walk in civic darkness.
Matt: 6:23 “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!”
To be enlightened, we must allow the light, (truth) to illuminate. This also applies to our commerce, our financial instruments, and our wealth.
The Bible shows us how God judges the theft of wealth through dishonest means.
Proverbs 11:1 “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord,
but a just weight is his delight.”
Proverbs 20:10 “Unequal weights and unequal measures
are both alike an abomination to the Lord.”
Proverbs 20:23 “Unequal weights are an abomination to the Lord,
and false scales are not good.”
Leviticus 19:35 “You shall do no wrong in judgment, in measures of length or weight or quantity.”
Proverbs 16:11 “A just balance and scales are the Lord’s;
all the weights in the bag are his work.”
Isaiah 28:17 “And I will make justice the line,
and righteousness the plumb line;
and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
and waters will overwhelm the shelter.”
Deut 25:13 “You shall not have in your bag two kinds of weights, a large and a small.”
25:14 “You shall not have in your house two kinds of measures, a large and a small.”
16 “For all who do such things, all who act dishonestly, are an abomination to the Lord your God.”
God has made it clear that He hates deception, He hates theft, and He hates people who abuse others.
As long as the unconstitutional Federal Reserve is allowed to control the American money supply, we will continue to have our wealth stolen and used to further our tyranny over us. Our rising generations will have no clue of the liberty that was guaranteed to them in the US Constitution.
It will be up to us, and our progeny to “spend their sunset years telling their children and their children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
God bless you, Dave
