We all know that inflation is killing America. Too often we hope that the excrement will not hit the fan till we are dead and gone, but what does that mean for our rising generations?
President Ronald Reagan addressed this in a famous quote, but how many of us remember his warning, or take it seriously?
We have also witnessed the terrible treatment that honest, God-fearing, law-abiding taxpaying, life-supporting people have suffered at the hands of those in charge of executing justice in our communities and our nation.

How many of us are afraid to believe what our instincts tell us is going on? Do we believe that it just can’t be as bad as it looks and if it is, there is nothing we can do about it?
Once upon a time, there was a man who had been called upon when he was quite young to be an ambassador of our nation, later he was elected President, and after his presidency, he was elected as the congressman for his district in Illinois, where he served until his death.
As a congressional representative, he fought tirelessly to abolish slavery. He was continually found lecturing the House of Representatives on the need to abolish the sinful institution of slavery. He argued that our Declaration of Independence demanded that “… all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…” This, he would insist, means ALL MEN!
He complained so often and so passionately that members of the House grew wearisome of his speeches and voted to restrict his ability to continue this pursuit on the House floor. He was forbidden to debate the issue of slavery in Congress.
He was once asked why he was so adamant about persevering with such an unpopular commitment. I believe his answer is, and should be an example for all of us to emulate.
He said, “Duty is ours, results are God’s.”
His path was not written in stone. There was no formula for him to follow or earthly example. The righteousness of his passion was not evident to many Americans, nor even that the abolition of slavery was even possible. The history of slavery touched every civilization throughout the history of mankind, yet he believed it to be fundamentally wrong for one man to have his rights taken away by another.
All that he had to go on was the inner conviction that slavery was wrong. He believed it was theft, even the most egregious theft of the liberty of the souls of men.
His belief was reflected in an accusation against King George in the original draft of the Declaration of Independence, “He [King George] has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its most sacred rights of life and liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere or to incur miserable death in their transportation thither…”

John Quincy Adams was a man of conviction. He did not accomplish the abolition of slavery, he did not witness its occurrence, yet he tirelessly worked toward it and through his efforts, God did accomplish the end of legal American participation in the institution of slavery.
John Quincy Adams never saw slavery ended, but he was instrumental in its abolition.
Adams was faithful in his duty according to his ability and opportunity. God was faithful to his intention and according to His timing.
Today’s America has suffered the assault of Marxists for more than a century, gradually surrendering the liberty of its citizens to the tyranny of oppressors through a reluctance to match the passion of Marxists with adequate resistance.
The average American does not take this threat seriously. We believe that some benevolent benefactor should intercede on our behalf. We hope that we can appease those who seek to defeat us with “cheek-turning.”
Though examples of the failure of these tactics are rampant throughout the history of mankind, we ignorantly believe that the cheek-turning was just not done right, or with the right degree of sincerity.
The truth is that it is useless to “cast our pearls before swine.” Matt 7:6.
While the United States of America is suffering a multi-decade, multi-front attack by the forces of evil, there are two main avenues of the enemy’s attack; inflation and the denial of blind justice.
Our government is engaged in a cabal to steal the wealth generated by the citizens of America and has weaponized the 2nd and 3rd branches of our government against her citizens.
Americans struggle to find a defense against these assaults while refusing to admit the true nature of the weapons formed against us.
No one wants to believe that our government and financial institutions are committing these crimes against them on purpose. They hold out hope that it is all just a big mistake, that incompetence is the reason that our wealth and liberty are evaporating into the hands of elites.
I believe that for many, this is intentional ignorance. We don’t want to face the fact that our enemy, “…as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” I Pe 5:8.
Even prominent conservatives often refuse to face these facts. They continue to regard government spending as the cause of inflation.
While government spending is a problem and it is a partial motivation for theft, it is only a symptom, not the cause.
The creation of fiat currency is the cause. Money is created from nothing so that some of it can be extracted by government entities, who in turn spend it on “wishlist” items that increase government power.
Until the 1980s, it was commonly understood that the printing of unbacked currency was the definition of inflation, (quite literally,) not simply a contributing factor to it.
Today too many are afraid to face these facts and are thereby deceived, as they poke around the edges of the massive wealth redistribution scheme being perpetrated on the American economy.
You may be asking, “What is the answer, what can we do?”
The answer is to return to the gold standard. It will immediately halt inflation. The value of our money will then be protected. Prices will stabilize, and the value of our savings will be preserved.
There are only two problems I can think of. All of the jobs that are generated to absorb these vast sums of money will come to an end, leaving millions of people unemployed.
On the one hand, I wish this on no one, but on the other hand, those jobs that provide critical services will be protected by the principles of a free market.
Nearly the entire financial industry, (as we know it,) will need to disappear. There will be no need for most of the “services” currently provided by them. Banks will become a place where customers can store their gold and silver for safekeeping.
There will cease to be resources that our government can use to finance wars. Our military will once again be for our national defense alone. Military intervention in international affairs will be something that America can simply not afford.
The second problem is that of enforcement. It is already unlawful to use anything but gold or silver as money, yet America’s wealth has been consumed by fiat currency schemes ever since the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.
If the American people were to successfully repeal the FED, and return to the gold standard, how could we guard against the imagination of some unprincipled genius who might devise another way around the law?
The hardest obstacle is to convince Americans that it must be done and how it can be done. The next hardest thing is to put enough pressure on our government to pull it off.
An Article V convention of states is the proper vehicle for its implementation. Then, the amendment that ends the FED and reestablishes true money standards must include enforcement mechanisms.
