Yesterday, while discussing the subject of my last post, a friend asked me, “what can we do.”
At the risk of putting words in his mouth, I will paraphrase his concern. If some of the most abhorrent, relentless, selfish, and hateful people have become the most powerful executives in government, and business, how do we confront them, and how do we gain victory over them?
This is a very important question, but the answer, while not being easy, is very simple. First, we must understand that these enemies of truth and liberty hate us, BECAUSE we love God. They hold the utmost contempt for GOD, and therefore, by extension they hold contempt for us. Jesus asked why wouldn’t they hate us, since they first hated him.
With this obvious truth understood, we should consider how the Bible reveals that we are to withstand it. Does the Bible say that we will escape tribulation? I think not. Does the Bible say that the forces of evil will triumph over good? This answer is also clear, and the last enemy to be destroyed will be death.
Once again, let’s Return to the question, “what can we do?”
Isaiah 5:20, ( a verse that I will repeat until it is no longer relevant,) says,
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
We must not allow anyone to persuade us to call that which is evil, good, and we must not be persuaded to call anything that is good, evil.
These abhorrent proclamations are daily occurrences in our media, public education systems, academia, and all three branches of our government, at nearly every level.
If we compromise on these matters, we are accomplices in the destruction caused by them. Our calling, and mandate, (from the Lord,) is to resist evil, refuse to agree with lies, refuse to accept lies as truth, and confront these evil lies wherever they challenge us. It will not be easy, and it may become quite painful. We may loose our employment, we may loose our savings, and retirement. We may loose the ability to speak publicly, and we may end up in jail, (like some our brethren who committed the offense of opposing the violation of Federal Election Law, and the Constitution of the United States of America, while exercising their Constitutional, 1st Amendment right to protest.)
We may find ourselves in similar situations as our neighbors to the north, Canadian truckers who simply want to perform their trade, without subjecting their own bodies to experimental substances, (the same substances that are products of the globalists that we learned in my last post are under international prosecution for violations of the Nuremberg Code, included various crimes against humanity and war crimes as defined by Rome Statutes.)
What are we willing to do? Will we resist as long as we are allowed to board aircraft, but will relent if we must in order to fly? Will we resist as long as the jab is not required for us to continue in our employment, or to take a vacation on an ocean cruise?
These are all conditions that I have learned, in the last few days, to which some of my fellow Americans are willing to succumb. Is this resisting the devil, that he may flee, are is this succumbing to the pressure to submit to the lord of evil?
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
The answer is that we must educate ourselves in the Word of God. We must educate ourselves in the ways, and methods of the the world around us, and we must do our best to educate our neighbors of the Word of God, and the ways of evil, speaking the truth, in love. We need not to be violent, the violence will come to evil, in the fullness of time, by the hand of THE Righteous Judge, GOD Almighty. The only help He needs from us is to remain faithful to the truth.
God has never needed a majority to bring His will to pass. He has never needed kings, or lords of any kind to agree with truth, to respect liberty for all, in order for truth and liberty to triumph, (example; the Declaration of Independence.)
Thirteen British colonies triumphed over the most powerful military on earth, with reliance on the providence of the moist high, GOD, with only about 30% of the colonists’ participation in the battle, ( does this remind anyone else of the Biblical record of Gideon?)
We must not fear those that can take away our lives, or our liberty, we must fear the Lord, and it is entirely possible that relief will not come in this life.
God bless you, Dave
Well put. Thank you for the encouragement, exhortation , and edification!! And having done all, STAND!
