Last Sunday I was visiting my Dad’s church. The Pastor is a good man, a good pastor, and a personal friend of my Dad. He has great insights into the truth of God’s word, contributing to clear, and precise teaching of the word of God.
We got to church early, and spent some time visiting with Pastor, his wife, and other early arrivers in the fellowship hall area. A little girl had a fluffy rainbow purse that became a subject of conversation.
Pastor commented as though the rainbow is a symbol of depravity. This started my brain to churning, thinking about the rainbow as a symbol, and its origin.
God gave the rainbow to Noah, and the world, as a sign, a reminder of the covenant that He would never again destroy the earth through flooding, Genesis 9:8-13.
How is it that Christians, including pastors, are willing to surrender this incredible sign to those that seek to pervert it and so many other aspects of our lives? Shouldn’t we hold onto these with a death grip? My Bible tells me to resist evil. We are to cling to the truth, speaking it in love, confronting the forces of evil.
Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
If we agree with the perversion of God’s symbols, are we not agreeing with God’s rival, calling evil good, and good evil?
Surrendering to the enemy is not the faithful thing to do, as a Christian. Jesus surrendered to the penalty for our sins in order to provide salvation to those that had no other avenue for salvation. This surrender was a victorious offensive weapon against the forces of evil.
Saved ones are dead to sin, (not that they are unable to sin, but the price of that sin was paid for all.) We are to give our lives as living sacrifices to God, standing against the forces of sin and tyranny for the sake of ourselves, and others.
Giving over the possession of significant gifts from our Lord is not among those sacrifices that we are to make.
The rainbow is but one of the many things that tyrants expect us to turn over to them without a fight, under threat that they will exact political, and social “justice” upon us. And make no mistake, that judgement will be without mercy.
Justice is another one of those sacrifices that tyrants expect us to make. Anyone can see the injustice being meted out on those that refuse to accept the injustice of present politics, as righteous people are demonized, and our children are victimized by reprobate predators in our classrooms. We are punished if we point out any of the injustices that we see. Punishments can range from social media canceling, to imprisonment, (including solitary confinement,) for voicing our beliefs.
Please join me in resistance to this devilish tyranny. There are things that can be done. We the people must stand up to tyranny, wherever it originates, and from whence it descends upon us.
There are tools at our disposal, and weapons for our warfare, that every patriotic, and Christian American should use. God has made each of us specifically for the battle we were born to fight.
We can either fight the battle that the Lord has brought us to, or we can cower in fear, pleading for mercy from our enemy. I assure you, there will be no mercy. Mercy is not a feature of our enemy. Lies, and hatred are his nature, and he, and his disciples, take great pleasure in the ignorant surrender of God’s children.
His disciples revel in their debauchery, and that of others. They chalk up victories every time a child of God relinquishes the fight.
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
They are Reprobates, knowing the righteous judgement of God, but reveling, not only in their own debauchery, but that of others. If they can get the righteous to forsake their righteousness, in favor of appeasing their nemesis’, they believe they have scored a victory. It is clear that we will have scored a loss.
What, you might ask are the weapons at our disposal? There are many, and they must begin with knowing the Word of God, and asking for wisdom from our Lord. Once we ask, we must be humble enough to recognize the wisdom given, and act upon it.
The framers of our Constitution gave us a tool that enables the citizen to influence our legislators to solicit a convention of the states in order to amend our constitution. This procedure leaves the President, and Congress out of it, (the House of Representatives, and the Senate.) The Governors of our states have no say, nor Supreme Courts, (state or federal.)
Only state legislatures can call of such a convention, and if thirty-four of our fifty state legislatures join together, Congress MUST provide the venue.
This is not to be confused with a constitutional convention. Its purpose is not to remake our constitution, it is to make legal, constitutional changes, or amendments to it. Such amendments would be to address specific issues, or provide for changes in the wishes of our citizens, as when slavery was made illegal.
Once this convention is enacted, and if state delegates propose amendments, thirty-nine states are required to ratify them as Constitutional Amendments. If done, these amendments carry the same authority as the 1st Amendment, or the 14th amendment, or the 25th Amendment, or the 27th Amendment. They will be part of the US Constitution going forward. Modification of them would require another amendment, either by Congress, or another convention of states.
The organization, Convention of States is dedicated to this cause for the restoration of our constitution, and our republic.
Please become involved, and please Sign the Petition .
God bless you, Dave
