I believe that we tend to ignore the importance of using language properly, and I don’t think it is an accident.
The Bible tells us that “In the beginning was the Word,,,”
In the “beginning” of what? The beginning of EVERYTHING. In the beginning of time, before anything else, “…the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”__John 1:1
This shows us just how important and how powerful The Word of God is.
John 1:17 says, “Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth.”
What is TRUTH?
In John 14:6 Jesus said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me…”
The opposite of truth is lies. The devil is the author of lies, and those who accept and promote lies serve him, John 8:42-44.
those who embrace untruths or half-truths are disciples of Satan, serving the enemies of righteousness.
We are expected to tolerate half-truths, untruths, and lies in an effort to prove our kindness. We are told that it is intolerant and judgmental to demand fidelity to truth. Yet, those who demand this of us are completely intolerant of us or our opinions. They reject the notion that truth is the standard we must adhere to.
From as early as Genesis 3:15, the devil has perverted truth into lies to undermine truth.
Americans, and especially Christian Americans, often succumb to the perversions of deliberately misused words.
Democrats call their party “The Democratic Party.” They have copyrighted the term as the official name of the party, yet it is a bold-faced lie.
“Democratic” is an adjective, a descriptor that portends to define the attributes of the closest associated noun. This would suggest that the political party in question embraces democracy, that its members hold as the greatest value, every vote of every legitimate American citizen.
In reality, “The Democratic Party” is a party of “Democrats” whose goal is merely to serve the advancement of the corrupt power of the party itself. The value of each voter is subverted to that goal. Any voter who will further that goal is protected and valued, while any voter who opposes the accumulation and execution of corrupt political power for the advancement of that party is vehemently opposed and rejected.
The party in question is not a political party that greatly values the opinions of the majority of Americans; rather, it is a political party that ONLY values the accumulation and execution of political POWER.
The proper name for this party is not “The Democratic Party,” it is “The Democrat Party.”
It is a party of Americans that identify as Democrats, rather than a party that values democracy.
We can never defeat a lie by compromising with it.
Any time we allow the perversion of terms to the advantage of those who seek to deceive us, we become willing victims of their scheme.
The best way to defeat this evil scheme is to refuse to participate.
This principle repeats throughout our society, and in many manifestations. The failure of so many to effectively resist this tactic relegates them to the subversion of their societies for the advancement of evil.
Evil groups, objectives, and entities are named the exact opposite of what they are to cause us to accept the lie as truth. As we continually repeat the lie, we endorse it.
